2014 MTV VMA Awards: Best Dressed

Beyonce took to the stage with a surprise visit from her adorable daughter Blue Ivy, Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj shut down proceedings as they performed their new singe 'Bang Bang' and the red carpet fashion was hot and beautiful. It could only be the MTV VMA 2014 Awards!

Jennifer Lopez radiated glamour in a sequined Versace gown while Demi Lovato and Rita Ora went for statement red dresses with equally plunging necklines. Taylor Swift wore a striking Mary Katrantzou jumpsuit while no awards ceremony would be complete without the Kardashian clan. Kim wowed in a mini Balmain dress while half sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner opted for black outfits to compliment their sister's standout piece. I loved Beyonce's clingy black gown and her burgundy dress she wore for the press after party. Absolutely wonderful. As for leather, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus choose to bring a little rock chic to the awards, as did Nicki Minaj in a tiny leopard print mini. And the worst dressed? I'm sorry to have to say it but Katy Perry's denim Versace gown did not look too good, as she was accompanied by rapper Riff Raff. Joan Rivers on Fashion Police will surely tear into that style mishap, yet at least it was something different.

With many amazing performances and funny moments (Nicki Minaj's embarrassing wardrobe malfunction!) this was a great night for music and creative talents. Take a look at the winners list below and enjoy all the beautiful dresses...
