So, London fashion week has kicked off in style. Mulberry, Preen, Emilia Wickstead, Julien MacDonald, L'wren Scott, Richard Nicoll and Topshop Unique have all presented collections so far while we look forward to Vivienne Westwood, Burberry and Christopher Kane later on in the week. My favourite shows so far have been Preen (very precise and tailored) and Julien Macdonald, a show with so much sparkle and glitter that it put Strictly Come Dancing to shame! Julien MacDonald offering for spring was high sparkle and daring splits in sultry dresses. All the models looked like mermaids having risen from the sea adorned in glitter and pearls, very Macdonald. Pastels, creams and embellishmet.... it was all thrown in there!
I absolutely adored the Julian MacDonald Show. It was so feminine and elegant. Great post Hannah!
