#PFW: Balmain 2014/15

With Rihanna sitting front row, Rosie Huntington-Whitely closing the show and a whole host of amazing clothes... Balmain fall 2014 was a show to remember. Oliver Rousteing took a completely different approach to this collection compared to last season, as he experimented with animal prints, peplums, biker jackets and a whole lotta leather. There were belted jackets fiercely paired with tight trousers as well as fluffy coats in bright orange and yellow. I also loved the colours in this collection, as sumptuous browns, tans and camel tones were given a huge make over as they were used to full extent with black textures. Very chic and sophisticated.

Kasia Struss wore one of my stand out pieces - a soft a-symmetric jumpsuit with beautiful folds in a khaki green. The dresses towards the end of the show also were stamped with 'Kim Kardashian' all over as figure hugging midi dresses clung to every curve of the models body. Not great for mere mortals like us, but these were seriously hot dresses sure to be coveted by many rich, fashionable (skinny!) women out there. A safari vibe was also felt across the show as leopard, zebra and fur prints  were used on dresses, jackets and skirts which looked absolutly stunning against the fierce pieces Rousteing paired them with. A hot favorite in Paris, Balmain has done it again!
