Versus by Anthony Vaccarello
I was surprised that Versus, the diffusion Versace label, decided to show in London this season, but it's definetly a good thing they did as this show was fantastic. Vaccarello has such a good eye for detail, piecing togther classic Versace staples and giving them a fresh twist that this catwalk collection was brimming with stylish and sleek mini dresses, leather skirts and black buttoned coats. Black and white leopard print were the main key themes, with a variety of tailored trousers and maxi dresses thrown into the mix too. The blue bomber jacket worn by Malaika Firth was a favoruite of mine as were the cut-out dresses with silk chiffon trailing behind.
Jonathan Saunders
This collection was so light and airy, something we haven't really seen a lot of from Jonathan Saunders. It was a feminine collection with lots of drapery and cinching in at the waist. I loved the stripes which reminded me of the English seaside, the bright colours and a-symetric shapes, givng a summery feel to the while show. Loose, fluid and beautiful!
Simone Rocha
Simone has really stepped out from behind the shadow of her famous father, John Rocha and created a line which reflects her style and a new dimension to contemporary fashion. There's always a sense of movement and dance element to her shows, and the spring 2016 was no different. I loved the pastel colours and cross details on the body as well as the transparent materials which gave way to full skirts and delicate tops.
Preen by Thornton Bregazzi
I wanted to include as manylooks as possible from the Preen show, as every model that stepped onto the runway was wearing something polished and super nice. It was girly, but with a sharp edge thanks to the tangy orange and blue colours as well as the boxy shapes and smart cut fabrics. In some ways, this show reminded me a little bit of a Chanel collection, such were the ruffelled dresses and monochrome detailing. The gold sequined dresses and fluid lines were perfect and I loved the digital age feel to the show.
Henry Holland
The King of Cool has returned, with celeb pals Alexa Chung, Nick Grimshaw and Poppy Delevigne all sitting front row. But this season, Holland was in a more holiday sprirt, with floral Hawaiian prints adorned on jackets and shirts as well as huge sunglasses and khaki prints. Blue and pink were paired together which was a cool clash as was long sleeve jerseys with swinging summer dresses. And as for those crazy shoes which looked as though grass was spurting out from models' feet - they will be a huge summer sensation come 2016.
Topshop Unique
Cute polka dot dresses, fur stoles draped elegantly over shoulders, leopard print tops, light summer jackets - this collection had all the basics you could ever wish for in a summer wardrobe. There were pieces for evening and hints of glamour, while for day washed out jeans were an option as well as a flirty silk blouse. I loved the red leather skirt and the elegant jumpsuits.
Julian Macdonald
I love Julian Macdonald! He is one of the most daring, sexy, high voltage glam designers out there, who always dares to push the limits and create stunning dresses ready for the red carpet. It's no wonder he's such a favourite of celebrities including Heidi Klum and Jennifer Lopez. All the models were slick and polished at his spring/summer 16 show, wearing cut out dresses in jewel colours such as gold and silver. Geometric patterns and floral designs were embriodered onto body suits and skin tight dresses while the stunning white dresses at the end of the show were to die for.
