Wedding Bells for Brad and Angelina!

Congrats to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who have finally tied the knot after almost 10 years of first meeting on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith. With their 6 children in tow and a small intimate group of family and friends, Hollywoods golden couple romantically pledged their love for one another in what seems a very emotional ceremony. And it was beautifully staged in the family's home in the south of France - their $35 million get a way pad.

This was not the big, celebrity wedding famed for A List starlets, as the location and date were kept very secret, probably to stop the worlds media getting involved. Nobody wants a wedding full of the drone of paparazzi helicopters overhead! Eye witnesses are claiming Angelina was walked down the aisle by her two eldest sons, while Brad had tears in his eyes while saying his vows. As for what dress Angelina was wearing, details are still quite unclear, however we are told it was very traditional with fine lace. And there was no chance of a romantic honeymoon, as Brad flew over to Devon to promote his new movie, causing a stand still when he visited the local Tank Museum! Well, when you're the hottest stars in the world, there is no rest.

Controversy started their passionate relationship and now marriage has finally secured it! The fashionbox wishes the newlyweds a very happy future together!

2014 MTV VMA Awards: Best Dressed

Beyonce took to the stage with a surprise visit from her adorable daughter Blue Ivy, Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj shut down proceedings as they performed their new singe 'Bang Bang' and the red carpet fashion was hot and beautiful. It could only be the MTV VMA 2014 Awards!

Jennifer Lopez radiated glamour in a sequined Versace gown while Demi Lovato and Rita Ora went for statement red dresses with equally plunging necklines. Taylor Swift wore a striking Mary Katrantzou jumpsuit while no awards ceremony would be complete without the Kardashian clan. Kim wowed in a mini Balmain dress while half sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner opted for black outfits to compliment their sister's standout piece. I loved Beyonce's clingy black gown and her burgundy dress she wore for the press after party. Absolutely wonderful. As for leather, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus choose to bring a little rock chic to the awards, as did Nicki Minaj in a tiny leopard print mini. And the worst dressed? I'm sorry to have to say it but Katy Perry's denim Versace gown did not look too good, as she was accompanied by rapper Riff Raff. Joan Rivers on Fashion Police will surely tear into that style mishap, yet at least it was something different.

With many amazing performances and funny moments (Nicki Minaj's embarrassing wardrobe malfunction!) this was a great night for music and creative talents. Take a look at the winners list below and enjoy all the beautiful dresses...

Best Dressed: Taylor Swift

Have you heard Taylor Swift's new song, 'Shake it Up'? No? Well, I can guarantee it will be all over the radios and music channels for the next month or so, giving you plenty of opportunities to have a listen. However, I have heard it and let me tell you, it's pretty good! Despite all the negative criticism on twitter surrounding Taylor's lyrics and the twerking dancers in the music video, let's try to focus on the music here which has a punchy, cheer leader ring to it. So, get listening! And so with a new single out, now is the perfect time to access this pop princess' fashion sense...

Taylor Swift has always stood out for me on the red carpet, which is why she is the August Best Dressed of the Month. From the golden globes to the Grammys, Taylor always looks immaculate with perfect hair and makeup to compliment her overall look. What also helps this talented lady is her height; 5ft11 to be exact.  She is slender and tall with long lean legs and an athletic physic - wonderful model proportions really to carry off any dress. And with designers like Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab and Donna Karan begging to dress her, this girl has all the dream ball gowns you could possibly ever want to wear at her finger tips. Whether it's a sexy, smoky look like at the 2013 Golden Globes where she chose a glamorous purple Vera Wang gown Gown, or pretty preppy in a skater skirt and converses, Taylor's outfits always look great and flatter her figure completely.

Since breaking out into the music industry with the catchy hit 'Love Story' all those years ago, Taylor has been a constant star at the forefront of music. Dueting with Jennifer Lopez, Ed Sheeran and Gary Lightbody to name just a few and notching up a number of top 10 hits, this woman just keeps getting better and better. Yet, it is her unlucky love life which has seen her a constant target of the press. It's no secret Taylor hasn't always been lucky with her past boyfriends who include Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas... The list goes one, believe me. Perhaps it's just because Taylor hasn't found the right guy yet, but I have every faith that one day she will. Until that time comes, she just keeps writing hit songs about her troublesome ex's, so it can't be all bad news for her. Taylor admitted that 'I knew you were trouble,' was written about her ex (ladies man) Harry Styles, which was quite awkward when they both attended the 2014 MTV Music Awards.

Moving on from Taylor Swift's love life, her fashion is absolutely amazing and her sense of style is perfection. Opting for usually beige, cream and nude colours, Taylor always dazzles on the red carpet and I can't wait to see what fab outfits she wears in the future!

Anya Hindmarch - Fun Fashion for Fall 2014

Fun, witty and cool! Those three words perfectly sum up Anya Hindmarch's fall 2014 collection, presented way back in February. With clever references to Daz, Ariel, Kellogs, Coco Pops and even Chocolate Digestive Biscuits, who wouldn't want to purchase a piece of Hindmarch for their new autumn/winter wardrobe? I love the small clutch bags with tassels on the end, as well as the delicate handbags in blue and white, perfect to go with any outfit. This is the first time I've really payed serious attention to Anya Hindmarch's fantastic, imaginative designs, however she has been on the fashion scene for a while (25 years in fact) but has firmly established herself now at the forefront of London fashion. Take a look at some of the best pieces from her latest collection, and get ready to fall in love!

Celebrities love her: Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, Florence Welch and Kate Middleton. As well as customers around the world, in Tokyo, New York and Paris to name just some of the 50 countries Hindmarch is stocked in. In 2009, Anya released her bespoke range, where she gave customers the opportunity to make their mark on her handbags and possess something more personal and meaningful from her brand. Quirky and fun, people just can't get enough of this woman's fashion, and with magazines like Elle and British Vogue singing her praises, the only way is onwards and upwards!

R.I.P Lauren Bacall

Is there any good news at the moment? First we hear of the tragic suicide of actor Robin Williams and now it has been reported that iconic movie star Lauren Bacall has sadly passed away at the age of 89. As my readers know, I am a huge lover of the famous Golden Age of Hollywood and the stars it produced so to hear of a Bacall's death is extremely heart breaking as hardly any actors of that era remain with us. Bacall was beautiful and talented, known for her distinctive husky voice and smouldering looks, as well as her high profile marriage to Humphry Bogart.

Starring in movies such as 'How to marry a millionaire,' 'To have and to have not' and 'The Big Sleep,' Bacall always dazzled on screen and was different to her female contemporaries of the time. She was not curvy, with platinum blonde hair or self seeking and instead captivated audiences with her charm. She shared the screen with names such as Gregory Peck, Barbara Striesand, Marilyn Monroe and Betty Grable and of course, with her husband Bogart whom she had two children with and remained married until his death in 1954. She was a woman who radiated goodness and she will go down in history as one of the Hollywood Greats. R.I.P Lauren Bacall. X

L'Oreal Ladies...

From Eva Longoria, Cheryl Cole and Penelope Cruz to Megan Fox, Kate Moss and Jane Fonda... Only the beautiful and famous model for L'oreal Paris. The beauty and make up company, famed for their amazing mascara and extensive shades of hair dye, have for years featured a host of actresses, models and singers to model their award winning products. And now, with the help of Russian supermodel Natasha Poly, you can look like a 21st century Grace Kelly, as L'Oreal launch their latest ad campaign. Wavy blonde hair resting elegantly on the shoulders with a flash of lipstick and perfect, glowing skin, with L'Oreal you can now look like your favourite Hollywood star, for a great price too!

Personally, I have always used L'Oreal shampoo and conditioner as well as their fab eyeliner, to great effects. And the gorgeous yet practical ads over the years have really worked their magic, with women all over the world being greatly influenced by their favourite celebrities. Kate Moss was the first British model to be asked to take the spotlight for L'Oreal, while Jane Fonda (who seems to be growing younger every day!) has always coveted the illuminating skin care range for healthy looking and anti ageing skin. Many of us have grown accustomed to Frida Pinto and Aishwarya Rai gazing seductivley down the camera lens at us, while even TV presenter Tess Daly has been used as a hair model for Loreal.

It's not all about the girls though. Even with men's products, modeled by Hugh Laurie and Patrick Dempsey, are a great success. So let's take a look at some of the most famous L'Oreal faces over the years, and you can decide for yourself who your favourite 'L'Oreal Lady' is...

Kristen Stewart for Chanel

Who would have thought? The unsociable, private and withdrawn Kristen Stewart modelling for one of the most recognized brands in the world: Chanel. Yet it has happened and we knew it was happening around December time, when Stewart attended the annual Chanel Metiers d'Art 2014 show held in Texas. As she posed for the fashion press and a throng of paparazzi, Karl Lagerfeld himself announced to the world that this upcoming actress would be the face of the Metiers collection, much to our surprise.

A fashion show fit for a cowgirl, this Chanel collection was most defiantly centered around the cowboy vs red Indian fantasy. Fringed boots, studded belts, pretty frilled skirts and painted leather jackets... Only Chanel. The show was wonderful and so full of character, and now, in mid 2014, Stewart herself is plastered across billboards and magazines worldwide wearing those exact clothes. It's not that I don't like Kristen Stewart, I just find her very moody, ungrateful and just generally looks like she'd rather be anywhere else than where she is now. She got on my nerves in the twilight movies and also in the critically acclaimed Snow White and the Huntsman, and her cheating on Rob Pattinson with a man twice her age was just... disgraceful. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I've got her all wrong but the way the media portray her is not exactly flattering, is it?

Yet, for this latest Chanel collection, Stewart embodies the all American woman, with her hair slicked back in braids and dark eye make up adding a touch of mystery. She is photogenic and Lagerfeld must have clearly known that, as these campaign shots are great, simply shot against a wooden backdrop allowing the clothes do all the talking (and persuading!) As for Stewart she follows in the footsteps of Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley, Blake Lively and Vanessa Paradis as famous Chanel celebrity models, and is sure to go on to do Chanel make up and most likely perfume, No. 5 of course.

So what do you think of these latest Chanel ad campaign photographs? Are you for or against Kristen Stewart? I started writing this post firmly against the notion, but now after looking at the photos more closely, I'm all up for persuasion...
